Grech and its Immediate Past Chair Howard Graf will be honored at the inaugural Queens Foundation for Architecture (QFA) Legacy Awards Gala on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The celebration will take place at Flushing Town Hall and will bring together architects, civic leaders, and community members to recognize visionary leadership in architecture across the borough.

QUEENS, NY (July 23, 2025) - On Wednesday, July 23, the Queens Chamber of Commerce—the borough’s oldest and largest business association—announced KORA as the winner of its inaugural Queens’ Best Bakery Competition. The competition, which launched on June 13, invited locals to nominate and vote for their favorite spots for cookies, cakes, and all the sweet treats in between, with the beloved Filipino-inspired bakery emerging as the champion.

QUEENS, NY (June 27, 2025) – The Queens Chamber of Commerce proudly recognizes the retirement of Seth Bornstein, who is stepping down after nearly four decades of exemplary service to the Queens Economic Development Corporation (QEDC). Mr. Bornstein—who began his career with QEDC in 1979 and assumed the role of Executive Director in 2009—is retiring effective July 1, 2025.

With more than 140 exhibitors and a high-profile panel featuring representatives from the New York Mets, Hard Rock International, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, and New York City Football Club (NYCFC), this year’s Expo celebrated Queens’ emergence as a national hub for sports, entertainment, and economic opportunity.

(QUEENS, NY) May 22, 2025— New York City Council Member Vickie Paladino, the Queens Chamber of Commerce, and the Bayside Historical Society invite the whole community to the Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show and Concert on Wednesday, June 18th at Fort Totten Park. This annual event draws thousands to celebrate a night of fireworks, food and family fun. QUEENS, NY (May 13, 2025)—On May 6, hundreds of business leaders from Queens visited Albany to meet with their legislators as the Queens Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Queens Day in Albany. The annual event gives local business leaders the opportunity to advocate for the interests of businesses in the state capitol. Chamber members met with dozens of members of the State Senate and Assembly, then enjoyed food from more than 40 restaurants from across the borough at the “A Taste of Queens” reception, whereRobert Rodriguez, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), delivered remarks.
