QUEENS, NY (March 24, 2025) - Tom Grech, President and CEO of the Queens Chamber of Commerce, the borough’s oldest and largest business association, issued the following statement in response to the cancellation of Forest Hills Stadium’s 2025 concert season.

(QUEENS, NY) March 11, 2025— On March 12, hundreds of business and community leaders from across Queens will gather at Antun’s in Queens Village as the Queens Chamber of Commerce honors Michael “Sully” Sullivan and welcomes special guest Mookie Wilson at its annual St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon. Hosted by Queens’ oldest and largest business association, the event celebrates the contributions of Irish Americans to the borough and showcases Celtic traditions with great food and entertainment, including corned beef and cabbage and live Irish music from the band Brogue.

Members of the public are encouraged to vote for their favorite watering hole in the borough from among a record-breaking 46 nominated establishments at https://bit.ly/QueensBestBarVote through Thursday, March 20.

QUEENS, NY (FEBRUARY 21, 2025) - The Queens Chamber of Commerce, the oldest and largest business association in Queens, has announced its tenth “Best Of Queens” competition, looking for the borough’s best bar. Members of the public are encouraged to nominate and vote for their favorite watering hole serving up the pints and cocktails over the course of several weeks.

QUEENS, NY (December 20, 2024) - On Friday, December 20, the Queens Chamber of Commerce, the oldest and largest business association in Queens, announced UThai as the winner of its inaugural Queens’ Best Pad Thai Competition. The contest kicked off on November 15 and asked foodies to nominate and vote for their favorite establishments serving up the Thai classic, with the Rego Park eatery emerging as the winner.

QUEENS, NY (December 6, 2024) — On the evening of Wednesday, December 4, nearly 400 businesses and government and community leaders from throughout Queens gathered at Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park for the Queens Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Persons of the Year Awards Dinner. The evening recognized Jennifer Aument, CEO of The New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport; Saeeda Lesley Dunston, CEO of Elmcor Youth & Adult Activities, Inc.; Thomas K. Rudzewick, President and CEO of Maspeth Federal Savings and Loan Association; Seth Bornstein, Executive Director of the Queens Economic Development Corporation; Shahed Islam, Co- Founder and CEO of SJ Innovation LLC; and Brendan Leavy, Vice President of Development at the Queens Chamber of Commerce.
