Nursing Home Collections Attorney

What you will need to have:

  • Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in New York State.
  • 5 years of experience in state courts with hands-on Plaintiff side litigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in an effective manner.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Outlook.

The following is not required, but a plus:

Property Damage Claims Adjuster

Requirements

  • Take accurate and detailed statements from all involved parties.
  • Analyze and determine client and claimant liability.
  • Analyze and determine the value of damages to client and claimant vehicles.
  • Negotiate and settle property losses with little oversight.
  • Coordinate with our attorneys to assist in the evaluation of cases in litigation.

Qualifications:

Human Resources Representative

Provide benefit administrative/enrollment eligibility support, termination of coverage support and administer COBRA. Provide clerical support in functional areas of Human Resources, including, but not limited to, benefits, Family Medical Leave, New York Paid Family Leave and Short-Term Disability (STD), recruiting and employee relations. BA required, with five years’ experience, in Benefit Administration, and Knowledgeable of all state and federal laws as they pertain to FMLA, NYPL, STD and COBRA. Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word and knowledge of Excel.

Financial Specialist

Individual who is responsible for determining financial eligibility for services; will coordinate necessary paperwork for reimbursement from all insurance carriers, including Medicaid and Medicare; will conduct staff and participant workshops and individual sessions for benefits advisement. HS diploma, plus knowledge of Federal, State and City social service systems
