Position Overview

This is an entry-level position that is ideal for a new graduate with BS Accounting degree. The position reports to the Financial Controller who will also provide training and mentorship. The Staff Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day tasks of recording financial transactions and will eventually take ownership of the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. This is an in-person full-time position, 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

Successful Candidate

The successful candidate must have an understanding and experience of Regulation 68 with an emphasis on regulatory time frames. Understanding of New York, No-Fault Arbitration, and the No-Fault claims process. Must be a true team player genuinely interested in working in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Branch Manager - Ozone Park 

Education and/or Experience:  A relevant technical degree and eight (8) years of full-time experience as a technical specialist in a construction or design related field, four (4) of those years must have been involved in the management of all phases of construction work on new and renovation projects.
