Salary Range: $53,000-$55,000

Supervisory Responsibilities: Intern and/or Office Volunteer

Essential Job Functions:

• Match volunteers with wish children, providing instructions, relevant forms and support throughout the wish granting process and timelines.

• Track and monitor volunteer engagement, tasks and goals toward meeting strategic targets and granting more wishes.

Freelance Writer

The Queens Chamber of Commerce is hiring a freelance writer to create content like blog posts, marketing & website copy, whitepapers, and sales collateral. Candidates should have experience producing a wide range of content and the ability to select the correct tone and relevant keywords and terminology to speak knowledgeably and with confidence to different audiences. 

This is a remote, project-based position, although in person meetings may be occasionally required to manage larger projects. 

Part Time Freelance Event Coordinator

We are searching for a talented and motivated event coordinator to organize outstanding and unforgettable events. You will be responsible for every part of event preparations, such as choosing venues, coordinating food & beverage, developing run of shows and scheduling, and evaluating success afterward.

As the event coordinator, you should be well-organized and possess a sound knowledge of vendor management. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are vital in this role, as you will be managing multiple events simultaneously.

Clinical Supervisor

Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Supervisor
Part-time with guaranteed hours; 30 in total (15 Clinical + 15 Administrative)

Job description:

  • Be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a certified SIFI field instructor or be eligible to take on the SIFI Course.

  • Starting from 30 guaranteed hours per week and could potentially increase over time.

  • Supervise and lead a clinical team of five therapists between two locations (Long Island City and Yonkers); including but not limited to:

Human Resources Representative

Provide benefit administrative/enrollment eligibility support, termination of coverage support and administer COBRA. Provide clerical support in functional areas of Human Resources, including, but not limited to, benefits, Family Medical Leave, New York Paid Family Leave and Short-Term Disability (STD), recruiting and employee relations. BA required, with five years’ experience, in Benefit Administration, and Knowledgeable of all state and federal laws as they pertain to FMLA, NYPL, STD and COBRA. Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word and knowledge of Excel.

Financial Specialist

Individual who is responsible for determining financial eligibility for services; will coordinate necessary paperwork for reimbursement from all insurance carriers, including Medicaid and Medicare; will conduct staff and participant workshops and individual sessions for benefits advisement. HS diploma, plus knowledge of Federal, State and City social service systems

Senior Placement Specialist

Responsible for conducting intake screenings and coordinating admissionis for TSINY’s various programs. Play a key role in assisting individuals in need to find appropriate services through TSINY. Responsible for insuring that TSINY’s programs are reaching the maximum number of individuals who can be served effectively. Play a role in working with the IDF Director to insure that IDF duties are carried out in accordance with TSINY’s policies, procedures and mission. HS Diploma + 3 years’ experience in a mental health setting preferred.

Psychiatrist

Must be comfortable delivering services in-person and through telehealth. Minimum qualifications include current New York State licensure and board certification as appropriate to the discipline.
