Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Supervisor
Part-time with guaranteed hours; 30 in total (15 Clinical + 15 Administrative)
Job description:
Be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a certified SIFI field instructor or be eligible to take on the SIFI Course.
Starting from 30 guaranteed hours per week and could potentially increase over time.
Supervise and lead a clinical team of five therapists between two locations (Long Island City and Yonkers); including but not limited to:
Support therapists in assessment, treatment planning, and interventions
File Hygiene
Monitoring therapists’ schedules and longevity of clients’ therapy
Development and maintenance of directory of services/referrals
Development and delivery of Community Awareness Workshops.
Oversee social work internship program, including supervision of interns and
therapists who are also supervising interns. Liaise with social work schools.
Report to the CEO on a monthly basis.
Have extensive experience with assessment/in-take in crisis intervention.
Demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills.
Demonstrate great warmth and the ability to empathize.
Be flexible with working hours which may include weekend and/or night work.
Respond to walk-ins or calls from clients or callers in crisis.
The successful candidate shall be required to:
Have your own Liability Insurance.
Build relationships with clients.
Work within the ethos and philosophy of Solace House.
Liaise with clients and their loved ones as appropriate, with regards to, assessments, outcomes, interventions and reviews.
Receive ongoing supervision.
Actively participate in Solace House internal meetings e.g., staff meetings, clinical meetings, training as appropriate.
Periodically liaise with other professionals and organizations as appropriate.
Take responsibility for one’s own continued professional development.
Keep up to date with best practice and procedures at all times in line with NASW Code of Ethics.
Maintain HIPAA compliant policies and procedures.

Experience with maintaining compliance of city, state, and federal rules and regulations for mental health programs, and/or willingness to research and implement policies/protocols to ensure compliance.

Ability to assist admin staff with grants pertaining to clinical language
Technological wherewithal
