In furtherance of our efforts toward future growth we are seeking Business Development Managers to join the WATCH GUARD 24/7 team.

As a Business Development Manager, with a specified territory within the boroughs of New York City, you will be working within a supportive team environment, while fostering relationships with Property Managers, Security Directors, Facility Managers, and many other decision makers. The BDM will be expected to prospect through Cold Calling, Canvassing and Networking Functions, as well as within other areas of opportunity. The BDM candidate will accomplish monthly quotas and weekly reporting requirements while continually expanding their pipeline of prospects through contract close. This is a great opportunity with a growing and forward-thinking company who delivers what they promise.

The Business Development Manager must possess as requirements:

· 5+ years of successful (relevant) experience selling within the NY service industry.
· An energetic hunter mentality but with a strategic, consultative sales disposition.
· The ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships through listening and identifying client needs.
· Strong prospect (phone, canvassing, networking, etc.) building and negotiating abilities.
· The ability to multi-task and follow through on multiple projects.
· Strong presentation skills.
· Excellent communication and writing skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

A 2-3 week training period is standard, but it is essential that the BDM candidate is a self-starter and extremely motivated.

Starting salary at $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 plus commissions, based on experience.

The BDM will have sales and management support, allowing you to focus on driving new business.
