Field Service Engineer
Ultrasound Solutions Corp is currently looking for self-starter Field Service Engineer. This unique opportunity is currently being offered to entry level candidates who are interested in getting started in the medical service and repair industry. The following position is also open to experienced bio-medical service technicians looking to continue and develop their skills and training.
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of ultrasound imaging equipment in the field. The following candidate will be directly communicating with customers and will strive to provide the highest level of service.
About Ultrasound Solutions Corp: Ultrasound Solutions Corp is a growing medical equipment service and sales company. We currently specialize in ultrasound equipment, and we are expanding to different modalities (X-Ray, CT, etc.). Our head quarter office is currently located on Long Island, New York but we are also opening locations in other areas of the United States.
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Manage on site installations, repairs, maintenance and test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
• Produce timely, accurate, detailed, & legible service reports.
• Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols: Dress Code, car care, ISO, follow facility regulations.
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Local Travel is necessary for the position. The travel may involve driving and/or taking flights in and out of state. Travel may be overnight. Travel will not be on weekends when possible. When possible advance notice of overnight travel and extensive trips will be given however travel may be extended to overnight or to additional locations and flights with minimal notice in emergency situations.
The job requirements include:
• Must be punctual, trustworthy, and courteous to customers and co-workers.
• Have a flexible schedule, and a neat, clean appearance
• Basic knowledge of computers, networking, multi-meters and electronics, Tech School degree and certifications a plus
• Have the ability to clearly read, write and speak English. (Technical writing skills a plus)
• Must follow directions and be dependable with a good work ethic.
• Must be able to work independently and follow through on tasks with minimal supervision
• Should be detail oriented, and have problem solving skills, Mechanical Dexterity a plus
Technicians with a medical equipment background strongly considered
Technical school graduates with degrees in electronics strongly considered.
Candidates with electronics service experience strongly considered.
