About the Program: The NYC Small Business Resource Network is launching a Website Program, with the purpose of setting up 250 small businesses across the five boroughs of NYC with their own professionally-designed website at no cost to them. We believe it is essential for small businesses to have an online presence, especially now, but we understand it is challenging for some owners to launch a website on their own. We are seeking designers who feel passionately about serving the small business community and aiding in the business recovery efforts our program has put forth. You can learn more about the NYC SBRN here: http://smallbiz.nyc

About the Position: This is a contract position beginning late June/early July and spanning the course of three months. Each designer will complete 4-5 projects per week, reaching a total of 50 websites (per designer) built by the end of September 2021. All website content will be provided by the business owners, and virtual meetings will be held to discuss design preferences and website content. The actual design work can be performed on the designer’s own time and all other communication will be done via email. Upon completion of each website build, we are asking designers to create brief instructional videos for each website, to be passed on to business owners for use as a reference. Designers will work closely with a Project Manager and the Queens Chamber’sTech Specialist.
